John C. Bartley
John Bartley is the founder of Beacon Hill Consulting Group. He served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from Watertown (1987-91) where he was an active member of the Health Care, Government Regulations, Criminal Justice, and Energy Committees. Prior to elected office, Bartley was a consumer mediator in the Office of the Attorney General and later was Legal Counsel to the Committee on Government Regulations before his appointment as Legal Counsel to the Speaker of the House.
Bartley represents state, regional, and national clients across varied industries including, health care, behavioral health, automobile, gaming, natural gas, construction, recreation vehicle, psychoanalysis institutes, cosmetology schools, and antique auto enthusiasts. Bartley has established strong relationships with House and Senate leadership and is also a proud member of Governor Baker's Finance Committee.
Bartley earned his law degree from Suffolk Law School after graduating with a B.S.P.A. in Public Administration from Suffolk University.
John P. Burke
John P. Burke represented the First Hampden and Hampshire District in the Massachusetts State Senate for 12 years. During his time in the Senate, he served as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banks and Banking (1984-91) where he was responsible for completing the transition to nationwide banking as well as other issues concerning trust operations and open-end credit interest rate reform. After serving in the Senate, Burke acquired extensive experience in government relations in top law and lobbying enterprises in Massachusetts.
Burke is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
